Russian trading and production firm Aktis has launched a new plant in Novocherkassk, in the Rostov region, that produces glass containers with a volume of 0.3-1.5 litres. The plant, in which US$ 11.6 million were invested, has a production capacity of 110 million units per annum. Part of the funds came from the Petrocommerts Bank in the form of credit. The equipment for the new plant was purchased from the Italian companies BDF and Glass Technologies.
