PPG“s Barry J. McGee, vice president of glass technology and manufacturing services, has recently been appointed vice president of flat glass. McGee replaces Richard B. Leggett, who has asked to be relieved of his duties for medical reasons. McGee, 55, joined PPG in 1971 and held a series of glass engineering and market research assignments. He later was marketing manager of glass industrial products and then of primary glass, and manager of flat glass trade sales. PPG, North America“s largest producer of flat and fabricated glass, and manufacturer of automotive replacement glass, exceeded US$ 7.7 billion in sales.
