Steven E. Westfall has been named president of EFCO
EFCO will have a new president as of 8 January 2018 – Steven Westfall – who has extensive leadership experience in manufacturing businesses.
Steven E. Westfall has been named president of EFCO, effective 8 January 2018.
“Steve has extensive leadership experience in manufacturing businesses, having achieved top-line growth and improved bottom-line results, in part by employing lean manufacturing tools and processes,” says Joseph F. Puishys, chief executive of Apogee, EFCO’s parent company.
Westfall comes to EFCO from Tuthill Vacuum & Blower in Springfield, Mo., where he has served as president since 2013. From 2008 to 2013, Westfall led two companies owned by private equity firms – CST Storage and Detroit Tool Metal Products. He gained his leadership experience at EaglePicher Technologies, a USD 200 million plus high technology organization with 800 employees that produces batteries for mission critical aerospace, defence and medical markets. Westfall was with EaglePicher from 1993 to 2008.
He earned his master’s degree in business administration and bachelor’s degree from Pittsburg State University in Kansas.
