Carlsberg-Tetley and Scmalbach-Lubeca AG have worked closely together to offer the first European beer bottle with a ring-pull closure which also has excellent barrier properties. The 50cl bottle, launched by Carlsberg in the UK, has a minimum shelf life of six months and is composed of three layers: PET/modified nylon/PET. It is also recyclable using Scmalbach-Lubeca“s Supercycling process.
