Portuguese glass firm Atlantis, which owns Nova Ivima, in Marinha Grande, gave the glass workers“ union its guarantee that it would resolve the problem affecting six employees which led to a stoppage recently. Union leader Sergio Moiteiro was promised the company would pay the employees involved a monthly payment of Esc 65,000 and that the difficulty would be resolved by April.
