A couple in Perth, UK has been banned from serving as company directors for three years, after their double-glazing firm went bust with debts of nearly UK 1 million. Perth Sheriff Court imposed the penalty on Ian and Anne Whyte, whose firm, Discovery Windows and Conservatories, was wound up in December. The court found the Whytes had traded the company with no reasonable prospects of being able to pay creditors in full. Among other failings, they had made illegal loans to themselves.
