22 July 1999: Tunisian glass firm Sotuver said it will distribute a bonus share for every 24 shares held as part of an incorporation of reserves to raise its capital, market watchdog Conseil du March Financier said recently. Sotuver“s capital will be raised to TD 5.41 million after incorporation of TD 216,580 from reserves. Bonus shares will bear dividends starting from 1 January 1999. Previously, Sotuver said it would distribute a TD 0.6 dividend per share for its 1998 results. The dividend, distributed as of 20 July, was unchanged from its level for 1997. The firm“s net profit in 1998 was TD 456,815, down 47% from TD 855,887 in 1997.
