6 May 1999: The Chilean company Cristalerias reported a fall in net profits for this year“s quarter compared to the same three months in 1998. Net profit was down to Pso 3.56 billion and operating profit was also down, to Pso 3.58 billion. Non-operating profit, however, showed more positive signs, reaching Pso 362.3 million compared to a loss of Pso 151.1 million in 1998.
