25 March 1999: In a recent company statement, Finnish Safety Glass machinery manufacturer Glassrobots Oy said it has strengthened its organization with its recent appointments. Jouko Vaha-Antila has been appointed to Managing Director of Glassrobots Oy. Mr. Vaha-Antila shall also continue as President of Tambest Group, the holding company of Glassrobots Oy. The new Vice President of Glassrobots Oy is Juha Karisola. His responsibilities will be marketing and sales. Mr. Karisola joined Glassrobots Oy in 1994. Esa Lammi, who joined Glassrobots in 1984, has been appointed Director of Automotive Glass Technology Section. Petri Lammi has become Director of Architectural Glass Technology Section. Mr. Petri Lammi has joined to Glassrobots 1990. Anders Holmqvist fills the post of Sales Manager, and will be responsible for sales of North America, Middle-East and Scandinavia. Glassrobots Oy was established in 1982 operating worldwide and exporting over 90% of its production. The product range of the company covers processing systems both for automotive and architectural safety glass.
