11 February 1999: Germany“s Krupp Werner & Pfleiderer has developed an economical process for making long glass fibre reinforced granules and compounds with a fibre length of about 2.5 mm. An essential part of the patented process is an impregnating or mixing head, and more intensive mixing can be used to make shorter fibres, the company said.
