30 July 1998: Coventry (UK) building company, Deeley Properties, has won a contract from glass manufacturer Saint Gobain Solaglas, part of the giant Saint-Gobain Group, to build offices and workshops to house an aluminium fabrication and structural glass business in a UK 1.5 million development on the Leofric Business Park. Solaglas, which has operated for 30 years in Herald Way, Coventry, recently relocated its corporate headquarters to the city from Berkshire.
