23 July 1998: A new 20,000 tonnes per year glass reinforced fibre plant is to be established by the Malaysian subsidiary of Nippon Electric Glass Co. in Shah Alam, Malaysia. The product will be used in engineering plastics applications and the plant is due on line early in 1999, reports say.
