29 December 1997: Intek Holding BV (former Tecknecomp) has recently launched a public takeover bid on French company Sediver“s floating capital. Italian company Santavaleria owns 63.1% of the capital and 63.6% of the voting rights of Sediver, who produces glass insulators and has acquired 80% of Cosir from Swiss giant Ericsson for Lit 34 billion. News of the bid came from the financial markets“ regulator CMF, which explained that the operation was a result of Intek“s 63.6% acquisition of Santavaleria, which controls Sediver. The offer price has been set at FFr 170 per share.
