29 December 1997: An order from the leading Chilean industrial group Volcan SA for the turnkey supply of a 6,000 tons/year glasswool plant has been won by STM Engineering, a member of Italy“s Techint group. The plant, worth US$ 8 million, is the sixth glasswool plant completed by STM in 1996/97.
