Taiwan Glass Industrial Corp., has reported a net profit rise of 51.5%, for the first quarter of 1996. Net profit was up from NT$ 564 million for the first quarter of 1995 to NT$ 855 million. Taiwan“s largest glass maker accumulated NT$ 2.69 billion in revenues for the first quarter, up 11.79% and meeting 22.6% of its annual target, while pre-tax profit increased 60.0% to NT$ 1.07 billion.
