Vitrum Glass Group has issued a statement concerning their production under the current covid-19 outbreak. The statement reads, “We here at Vitrum Glass Group understand the increasing need for review of company supply and product availability due to the impacts from the global Coronavirus. Please reference the following in terms of Vitrum’s preparation and current supply conditions.
“We have seen no interruptions from major providers to date and we have not heard of any changing conditions from these providers. We expect to stay on time and will further communicate with clients if concerns arise. We do not expect our lead times to be affected as we ensure that our supervisors and managers are in tune with their teams.
“We do not have any employees affected by the virus due to the low number of cases in our region. We will ensure follow up is done with employees who are traveling or present symptoms.
“We encourage employees who are ill to stay home as not to spread it any further. While very few employees travel outside of BC, we ensure that we caution those about avoiding direct contact with others and continuing their personal hygiene as to limit the germs transferred from person to person. We do not anticipate that these processes will affect production rates.”
