Turomas at Eurasia Glass

TUROMAS was at the most important Turkish glass fair with its partner Vitron Makine

TUROMAS participated from 4th to 7th March 2020 in Eurasia Glass, the most important Turkish glass fair, the exhibition organizer, Reed Tuyap Fairs Inc. maintained regular communication with the health and foreign affairs authorities regarding the outbreak of coronavirus and tried to reassure exhibitors, attendees and employees by implementing clean-up and sanitation measures and restricting access to citizens of Korean, Chinese and Italian nationality.

Despite this setback, Eurasia Glass was an important venue for glass distributors and installers, construction companies, contractors, architects, and window manufacturers.

The tenth edition of the event welcomed nearly 70,000 visitors from more than a hundred countries in a space of 100,000 square meters and was attended by approximately 600 exhibitors.

The buyers who visited the Istanbul show were interested in learning first-hand about the emerging trends that will mark the future of the industry and the latest technological developments of the main Turkish and world brands.
Ruth Ruiz, Area Manager for the Middle East, Asia and Oceania of TUROMAS, was at Eurasia Glass sharing a booth with its partner Vitron Makine, a specialized distributor of TUROMAS’ flat glass processing machinery and automatic storage solutions in the region.

Ruth had the opportunity to meet customers again and to present the products and services that the Spanish manufacturer offers to potential buyers interested in them. Eurasia Glass also served as a meeting point with companies that are experiencing rapid growth in the CIS and MENA.

Potential customers recognized that TUROMAS’ smart machinery could transform their processes to be more competitive. They showed particular interest in automatic warehouses – shuttle, one of three smart storage systems from TUROMAS which, combined with a cutting table with suction cups, makes it possible to store, load and cut glass simply, automatically and economically.

Many of the trade visitors also came to the stand motivated by finding a versatile and efficient monolithic glass cutting machine. The RUBI 303VA model attracted a lot of attention because, by having a break-out system, it becomes a fully autonomous cutting table.

The 2020 edition of Eurasia Glass also offered a full program of parallel activities during the four days of the event to exchange professional knowledge.
