A tender has been published regarding the newly opened glass factory, for the implementation of glass products.
The Minister of Industry of Turkmenistan has authorized the publication of a tender “for the conclusion of a dealer agreement for the implementation of glass products in foreign markets,” after the opening of a glass factory built in the industrial zone of Ovadendape Geoktepin Etrap of the Akhal Velayat.
Bids are accepted within 30 working days.
As for the capacity of the plant, according to the data of the TDX state agency, “it is planned to produce annually one million square meters of tinted, 100,000 square meters of laminated, 300,000 square meters of tempered glass, and 400,000 square meters of double-glazed windows. At present, 15 types of containers of various capacities for economic and medical purposes are being produced. Most of these products will be exported to foreign countries.”
