We received from StekloSouz the following press release.
At the beginning of October 2020 the Government of the Russian Federation instructed the Ministry of Industry and Trade to create an interdepartmental working group, together with the StekloSouz Russia association, to search for joint solutions to provide the domestic pharmaceutical industry with modern and high-quality glass of the first hydrolytic class.
At the meeting, the composition of the interdepartmental working group was agreed and approved. A list of questions has been prepared for a meeting at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.
Imperfect standards remain a serious constraining factor for the development of a segment of production of a product so important for the security of the state. A decision was made, together with TC-074, to start developing a new document – a regulation.
The state customs policy also raises questions and it was decided to prepare a proposal for the elimination of legal incidents into the program.
Other issues that hinder the development of domestic medical glass were also considered.
The meeting was chaired by Viktor Osipov, President of StekloSouz Russia. Based on the results of the meeting and given the difficult situation with COVID-19, it was decided to work together at least once every two months.
