Şişecam has received yet another prestigious global award this time recognizing the excellence of its corporate website. One of Turkey’s most well-established companies, Şişecam is a global player in business lines covering all core areas of glass – including flat glass, glassware, glass packaging and glass fiber, as well as soda and chromium compounds.
Şişecam’s corporate website, www.sisecam.com, was honoured with the “Gold Winner” award in the Corporate & B2B category at the Horizon Interactive Awards. The global competition was held this year with over 10,000 entries from more than 40 countries.
Currently, www.sisecam.com supports ten languages and is being further updated to bolster the global structure of Şişecam, which operates in 14 countries. The revamped website includes special pages for each country alongside special content enriched with infographics.
This year, Horizon Interactive Awards received over 10,000 entries from more than 40 countries as one of the industry’s most prestigious competitions, recognizing and promoting the world’s best websites, videos, online advertising, print media, and mobile applications. At the Horizon Interactive Awards, winners are determined by a jury of industry professionals from across the globe with diverse backgrounds in multimedia, graphic design, advertising and marketing.
Entries are evaluated according to a set of predetermined criteria, including international recognition, strengthened customer focus, and competitive advantage. Şişecam’s websites were also honoured with awards from Horizon Interactive Awards in 2017.
