Mir Stekla 2021: feedback from exhibitors and visitors

Next edition of Mir Stekla will be June 6-9, 2022

With its 22nd edition Mir Stekla, organized by EXPOCENTRE, confirmed to be essential for the glass industry in Russia, these are some of the positive comments from exhibitors and visitors.

Mark Molchanov, Sales Head at Skytech
“We have been taking part in Mir Stekla since 2006. We try not to miss this annual event. This year we present two types of equipment for large format printing and automatic glass cutting. The exhibition is active. There are lots of visitors. They come from a variety of regions. Our stand has been visited by representatives of Penza, Moscow, and St. Petersburg. We have been pleased to see potential buyers from Belarus and Kazakhstan. I hope the exhibition will be successful.”

Francesco Pensabene, Director at the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) Moscow Office
“We have decided to take part in Mir Stekla because we believed we needed a fresh start. There is no doubt that Russia is  very impoortant market for us. The glass processing machinery sector is crucial to the development of Italian trade on this market. So we could not miss an opportunity to be here. Not so many Italian companies have come here this time, but these are really strong companies. We view the participation in this exhibition as a perfect chance to enter the market.

EXPOCENTRE is astrategic partner, we will respond to every invitation to participate. I believe that trade cooperation and networking with EXPOCENTRE in general will be growing and developing in the coming months and years.”

Rahul Munshi, Development Director at Shamvik Glasstech Business
“I am pleased to be at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds, Moscow, and represent our company Shamvik Glasstech and our country, India. This is the second time our company is participating in Mir Stekla. For me personally this is the first visit to Russia, yet our products have been available on the Russian market since the middle of the 1980s. We supply glass forming machines that enable glass enterprises to make class containers.

We are very glad to meet both our old and new clients here. We also meet representatives of glass enterprises, and we are ready to develop relations with them. We are happy to be here and expand our business. The perfect relations between our countries create a vast potential for cooperation. I would like to thank the EXPOCENTRE team for the opportunity to participate in this exhibition and to demonstrate to the clients and the market all of our products and tell them how we can be of help in the future.”

Mikhail Krengel, founder of YUTA
“We have been participating in Mir Stekla since 2000. We are happy that the exhibition has taken place this year despite the pandemic. We are very grateful to EXPOCENTRE! We are expecting to receive a great number of clients, because people have missed one another and they need new information and new equipment. At this year’s exhibition, we present a Russian-made triplex and glass laminating furnace. The entire range of Italian products is also available at our stand. We can see that the market is alive. It has not gone anywhere. The market has become professional. There are no more onlookers on the market, there are no visitors who do not understand what this is all about.

The exhibition has become very professional. It draws professionals. We are thankful to EXPOCENTRE for finding an opportunity to hold the exhibition at such a difficult moment. We have been participating in the exhibition every year and we will be glad to be back in 2022.”

Erdal Yalcin, Executive Director at Ritservice
“It’s very positive here this year. We are headed in the right direction. We had three or four times more visitors on the second day of the exhibition, compared to the first day. We have achieved some results today: we have sold a number of machines. All acquaintances gather together in one place during such annual events. Everyone is happy. I wish all exhibitors to be successful in their business.”
