ADI and RBM premiere latest technology at GlassBuild America

ADI and RBM Italia are presenting to the market, for the first time, the results of some major projects

ADI and RBM are proud to exhibit their latest concept tools to the American market. Their highly innovative technological applications will be presented at GlassBuild America in Atlanta, Georgia, which has the honour of being the kick-off event for the glass industry this year.

“We are delighted to finally be able to see all our customers and visitors in person again. GlassBuild America will be a really special event in 2021, the first live event since the outbreak of the pandemic,” said Lorenza Dal Maso, Glass Business Unit Manager of Surfaces Group. “The opportunity to attend the GlassBuild America gives us great satisfaction.

“We are presenting the results of some major projects that we worked on during the pandemic to the market for the first time. After an extremely thorough testing phase, these tools are finally ready to be presented to the glass industry, and will offer significant benefits to flat glass processing lines”.

GlassBuild America visitors will be able to see:

  • The latest ADI wheels that complete the UHS ® range for vertical CNC systems. These allow the sheet profile to be machined guaranteeing constant top quality, even with high production speeds and under stress.
  • ADI-RBM cup wheels, the result of integrated synergies, work and polish the edge of the sheet, providing the perfect combination and sequence of wheels which can be applied to straight and double-sided machines, and can be adjusted for all different thicknesses. Flexibility in the process, and perfect results for every need.
  • RBM Italia’s new hybrid wheels will be on show for the first time. Designed last year, the X510 cerium oxide and RP320 arris wheels will change the outlook for flat glass polishing, with their exclusive binder that combines the qualities of rigid wheels with those of soft rubber wheels in a single tool.
  • The entire series of accessories for glass processing will be on display: cerium, coolant and dressing stones, to offer a complete service to the customer.

“We are expecting the event to be very well attended, and despite the COVID-19 emergency and the travel ban for Schengen countries, thanks to the support of ITA-Agency and the strong collaboration with our subsidiary IGP Tools, we will be able to meet all visitors in complete safety, and demonstrate the distinctive advantages of our new solutions. This fair represents a symbolic restart for the glass business, and then we’re looking forward to seeing each other again in Europe at Vitrum,” concluded Lorenza Dal Maso.

The two companies look forward to see you on stand 2823, “IGP Tools – ADI – RBM Italia”.
