Over 140 presentations registered for GDP 25th Anniversary Conference
With just a couple of months remaining to the June 28, 2017 opening of the 25th GPD Anniversary Conference the pace – or the beat if you will — intensifies. Over 140 presentations highlight the broad and extensive program of the world´s leading glass Conference that summarizes the state-of-the-art of the glass industry in this millennium. The organizers have screened all the proposed addresses and found them to be of an exceptionally high quality.
In anticipation of the soon-to-be-published GPD Final Program, the organizers honor the principles of transparency and have already made all Conference presentation abstracts and speaker profiles available at www.gpd.fi.
Conference excitement is added by the new format, innovative concepts and venue that now mark this traditional event.  The format is designed to provide full visibility overlooking six parallel open conference sessions June 29-30, 2017 in the same facility rather than in separate and closed conference rooms. Modern audio-technology serves participants who have unparalleled opportunity to move between conference sessions, network and design their own priority participation. The special program module called Step Change is designed especially for start-up organizations and creative innovators while the Mentor and Ambassadorial Programs support learning, the transfer of information and networking.
GPD 2017, June 29-30, 2017 in Tampere, with around 15 pre-conference workshops on June 27-28, 2017 welcomes the world´s glass specialists to the extended global family of glass professionals. One of the workshops will be arranged in Finland´s capital Helsinki on June 27th.
The organizers have made special GPD bus transportation available at one hour intervals after the close of the Conference on July 1, 2017 to ensure traffic connections to Helsinki Airport. Be sure to register in time to be part of this unique world-leading glass industry event.
