Salamander and AGC have entered into a strategic partnership for the DACH, Poland and Italy markets. The combination of their know-how and expertise in their respective fields will lead to new innovative solutions, resulting in the integration of vacuum glass into Salamander windows. A combination that optimally supports Salamander’s goal of always producing the right windows.
AGC Glass Europe is an European leader in flat glass. With its FINEO vacuum insulating glazing, AGC Glass Europe embraces innovative technology. The ultra slim glazing (from 6 millimetres total thickness) achieves unmet thermal and acoustic performances, better light transmission and less weight. FINEO is also 100 percent recyclable. In this way, Salamander windows in combination with FINEO vacuum glass achieve better results in terms of thermal and sound insulation, wind resistance and water tightness.
The more filigree glazing, higher energy performance values, also result in potential savings for the profiles and thus resource efficiency and lower CO2 emissions. The weight savings make larger window areas and window shapes possible, which did not seem possible in the PVC sector until now and are absolutely in keeping with the spirit of the times.
At the Fensterbau Frontale in Nuremberg in July, Salamander will be exhibiting such a “window of the future.” In short: the innovative combination of window and vacuum glass leads to more attractive design, higher functionality and improved sustainability.
