Agr International introduces RPT3 advanced pressure tester

This all new pressure tester is designed to maximize laboratory testing throughput and operator usability

Agr International has introduced its latest product for pressure testing glass containers, the Ramp Pressure Tester 3 (RPT3). The RPT3 is an all-in-one pressure testing system designed for operation in the laboratory or on the plant floor of a glass container manufacturing or filling facility.

This all-new testing system incorporates the latest in advanced pressure testing technology and is designed to provide the highest accuracy while meeting the increased throughput and quality assurance demands of the glass container industry.

Descending from a long line of pressure testing systems, the RPT3 represents an advanced testing system that incorporates years of technical expertise in pressure testing glass containers in combination with the latest advanced electronics and Industry 4.0 connectivity. In developing this system, particular attention was paid to maximizing operator usability, operational uptime, testing throughput and purchase value.

The RPT3 is designed to maximize laboratory testing throughput. Essentially two testers in one, it offers a unique 2-bay system that incorporates two independent pressure generators.

With this design, it is possible for an operator to test two containers simultaneously, doubling laboratory testing capabilities with a single device. This feature offers a number of advantages including reduced investment over the purchase of two test systems, increased testing throughput and more efficient use of limited laboratory staff.

Built upon a completely new testing platform, the RPT3 incorporates a number of advanced features and capabilities that help to simplify testing and maximize throughput including:

  • Simultaneous testing in both chambers
  • Testing accuracy that exceeds industry standards
  • Extended pressure testing range to 68.9 bar (1000 psi)
  • Precision low range testing from 1.4 bar (20 psi)
