Stoelzle Glass Group celebrated the rebuild and expansion of the flint furnace at the Polish site Stoelzle Częstochowa. Dr. Cornelius Grupp, owner of the Stoelzle Glass Group, symbolically set the last brick.
The new furnace will reach a daily capacity of 480 tonnes per day and will be one of the largest furnaces in Europe. Operations are scheduled to start end of July.
The company gave their thanks to the whole team, who managed to set up the new furnace and the three new production lines in less than 80 days.
