RCN SOLUTIONS: Glasstec 2022, an instructive and inspiring edition

RCN has been particularly appreciated for clarity of information

The 2022 edition of Glasstec has just closed its doors and it has been an extraordinary experience for RCN SOLUTIONS.

As international show, Glasstec has always been the best voice of the glass industry and has confirmed to be still the same with this edition too, re-opening its doors on a market who lost its focus due to the global health situation.

RCN had placed great confidence in this show and has worked a lot to submit novelties, show systems and construction ideas. In addition, to be part of the GIMAV area has been a winning choice which kept the attention focused on the Made in Italy.

It was difficult to predict quantity and quality of the attendance after these years of travelling restrictions and unsteady market, however, all the demands for appointments RCN has received before the show, were inspiring. The company faced the exhibition with an optimistic mood, driven by the desire to explain its projects, and face to face conversation with visitors were important to make the audience understand the potentialities of all the RCN proposals.

RCN has been particularly appreciated for clarity of information and the instructions on the use of different interlayers into its laminating autoclave-free machines.

The great protagonists of RCN’s stand have been RD CLEAN CONCEPT, the patent pending revolutionary system for clean edges after lamination, and the chemical tempering plants.

The first one has received consent from visitors coming world-wide who have not hesitated to order RD CLEAN CONCEPT during the show, knowing that it can be installed in other laminating kilns other than RCN’s. All the glaziers were looking for a definitive solution to the manual cleaning of the edges after lamination which means to save time, labour, costs and grant the safety of operators who does not need to handle sharp tools.

About chemical tempering, RCN’s team has been pleasantly surprised by the visitors who were well-prepared on technical matters but needed RCN’s assistance to verify whether chemical tempering could fit their future special projects.

Recurrent words such as “projects”, “ideas”, “new production plans”, “developments”, heard from visitors, made RCN learn and explore new perspectives, hoping for promising business in the short future.
