Spanish glass packaging manufacturer Vidrala has acquired a 29,36 percent minority stake in the Brazilian company Vidroporto for around EUR 53 million.
Vidroporto is a manufacturer of glass containers, with factories in Porto Ferreira, State of São Paulo, and Estancia, State of Sergipe, which supplies some of the main Brazilian brands in segments such as beer, spirits and soft drinks.
This was reported by the Spanish company in a note sent to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV)
