AGC has appointed Steve Beck as market development manager responsible for developing sales for AGC and its customers in the North of England.
AGC has announced that Steve Beck has been appointed market development manager responsible for developing sales for AGC and its customers in the North of England.
Beck gaining a degree in mechanical engineering and has almost ten years’ experience in this field. In his more recent role, he was a sales manager responsible for national accounts for a market leading building products company. “Working for a world class manufacturer of innovative products like AGC, with increasing presence in the UK, was an opportunity I couldn’t refuse,” says Beck.
Recognizing a number of similarities in glass supplier-customer relationships to those he experienced with building products, Beck goes on to say: “In both industries the supplier’s representative has a very active part to play in helping customers to maximize new market opportunities, and that’s what I really enjoy about the job. Having previously managed sales in the North West, I feel I’m on home turf, and I’m looking forward to working with AGC’s customers in this area and to developing new mutually beneficial business relationships.”
