AGC Automotive Europe announces intention to acquire NordGlass

AGC Automotive Europe is acquiring NordGlass (Poland) to expand its European operations.

AGC Automotive Europe is acquiring the NordGlass company from Polish Enterprise Fund VI (PEF VI), a private equity fund managed by Enterprise Investors to consolidate its ARG activity (automotive replacement glass) in Europe.
NordGlass specialises in producing windshields for the automotive industry and is an important player in the European aftermarket, with sales of around 1.3 million windshields in 2014.
This acquisition will enable AGC to expand its operations in Europe, complementing its existing network of facilities.
The acquisition remains subject to approval from the competent competition authorities.
The company currently employs more than 1,100 people in Europe.
