AGC and Interpane will present their joint, greatly expanded collection of decorative glass at ZOW, an international fair for suppliers to the furniture and interior design industries, in Bad Salzuflen, Germany.
Between 18 and 21 February 2013 AGC and Interpane will present their joint, greatly expanded collection of decorative glass at ZOW, an international fair for suppliers to the furniture and interior design industries, in Bad Salzuflen, Germany. A wide range of decorative glass and innovative design solutions will be displayed on the combined stand, including digital prints on large glass elements (ipadecor), top-quality clear or tinted acid-etched glass (Matelux), painted Lacobel and Matelac glass in gloss or satin finishes, delicate partially chrome-based coated glass (ipachrome design), body-tinted float glass and a number of other innovations. The complementary product portfolios of the two companies, which entered into a strategic alliance in July 2012, have significantly increased the range of glass both can offer.
Today’s interior and furniture designers are on the lookout for innovative products that combine the intelligent use of materials with new designs and functions. Demand for marriages of colour and glass and for the use of decorative glass in interiors is stronger than ever because the smooth, shiny surface of glass, whether transparent or opaque, makes it a perfect material for furniture. Ever more creative solutions are being designed for shelves, bathroom furniture, shower screens, stairs, kitchen units, doors and even entire interior wall elements.
On its stand, AGC Interpane will showcase an eye-catching array of products, including ceramic digitally printed panels, acid-etched and painted glass in a generous range of colours, a desk with a heatable glass top, sand-blasted and photo-laminated glass, laminated safety and design glass as well as a large switchable glass pane. The brand new Oltreluce collection of patterned glass, created by Italian designer Michele De Lucchi, will also be on display.
