AGC Glass Company North America has announced that it will invest in a new state-of-the-art facility in the greater Atlanta area to service its current and future US customer base. Operations are expected to begin in mid-2013.
“We strongly believe in the North American market – including introducing higher value-added products and continuing to provide a high level of customer service.” said AGC Glass Company North America President and CEO Mark Ishiko, in company release on 10 September.
“Based on our analysis of the market, we believe in the North American recovery. By delivering innovative solutions to our customers, we’re demonstrating our commitment to looking ‘Beyond Glass’ to both the success of our company and the success of our customers.”
