AIA-accredited glass and metal education for architects in Seattle

The Architects’ Forum™ 2016, a day-long event filled with informative sessions and presentations will be held on 2 June at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue, Seattle.

All are AIA-accredited courses for which architects can receive up to five learning units. Organized by the Architects’ Guide to Glass & Metal (AGG) magazine, the day-long event provides news, information and education, all designed with architects specifically in mind.
Now in its sixth year, AGG’s Architects’ Forum continues to gain in popularity. This year’s program will offer a number of seminars. Each is accredited by the AIA and provides 1 LU/HSW. The presentations scheduled include:
•The Evolution of Glass and High Performance Coatings, presented by Guardian Industries, Platinum Level Sponsor;
•How Structural Silicone Spacers Contribute to Sustainable Window Design, presented by Quanex Building Products, Platinum Level Sponsor;
•Air Barrier Systems: Silicone Solutions to Reduce Building Air Infiltration, presented by Dow Corning, Gold Level Sponsor;
•Fire-Rated Glass and Framing 101, presented by Technical Glass Products, Silver Level Sponsor; and
•Intro to Dynamic Glazing (102), presented by SageGlass, Silver Level Sponsor.
In addition to the educational sessions, Architects’ Forum offers a number of other networking opportunities including lunch, coffee breaks, free admission into the Glass Expo Pacific Northwest™ ’16 trade show taking place concurrently, as well as access to the Welcoming Cocktail Party on the show floor.
