Armenia“s government approved the privatization of ArmGlass CJSC. The factory was sold for US$ 300,000 or 25% of its estimated book value. The buyer of the factory is a citizen of Armenia, a government spokesman said, and is obliged to invest a further US$ 1 million in the industry. The factory will produce glass jars, bottles and other package of glass and has debts of about 600 million drams (over US$ 1 million).
