Asahi Glass has announced a series of changes in assignments regarding executives, which will take place as of 1 October 2012.
Following the recommendation of the Nominating Committee, and approval at the Meeting of the Board of Directors, AGC (Asahi Glass Co., Ltd.) has announced changes in the assignments of Executive Officers with other changes in personnel.
Changes in the assignments of Executive Officers that will be made as of 1 October 2012:
Yoshiaki Tamura, presently Senior Executive Officer, President of Electronics Company, GM of Display General Div., will become Senior Executive Officer, President of Electronics Company; Takashi Fujino (Senior Executive Officer; Overall business management (Finance); GM of Office of the President), will become Senior Executive Officer, Overall business management (Finance), GM of Office of the President, Group Leader of Corporate Planning Group, Shinji Miyaji, now (Executive Officer, Group Leader of Corporate Planning Group, Office of the President), will take on the position of Executive Officer, Deputy GM of Office of the President; Kazuyoshi Watanabe, now Executive Officer GM of Technology Development General Div., Electronics Company, will become Executive Officer, GM of Display General Div. Electronics Company.
A further change in personnel will be made as of 1 October 2012:
Motoichi Iga, with current position as (Group Leader of Forming & Fabrication Group, Production Technology Center, Technology General Division), will take on the position of GM of Technology Development General Div., Electronics Company.
