Asahi Glass Co. (AGC) has announced that UV Verre PremiumTM is to be installed in Fuji Heavy Industries’ Subaru Impreza as an option. UV Verre Premium is the world’s first tempered glass for automotive front door windows, which successfully filters out approximately 99% of the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) rays. Amid consumers’ increasing awareness about UV protection, UV Verre Premium was included in Subaru Impreza’s options that help make driving the car a more comfortable experience.
