A.T.I.V. and Vitrum are pleased to announce that the XXX A.T.I.V. Conference, “Advances in Glass Processing: Key innovation topics in hollow and flat glass”, will be held at Vitrum 2015 at Rho Fiera Milano.
The conference – aimed at creating awareness and information around the most innovative glass technologies and applications – will occupy the entire day on Friday, October 8th, 2015, and will include participants from academia and the technical-productive sectors, as well as industry professionals and representatives from the international media.
The conference is organized as a joint event by A.T.I.V. (Association of Italian Glass Technologists) and VITRUM (the International trade show specialized in machinery, equipment and systems for flat, bent and hollow glass and in glass and processed products for industry), is part of the institutional activities of A.T.I.V. to promote technical and scientific knowledge and improve the competitive strength of glass industries, their suppliers and customers. The conference will provide a platform to bring transformative innovation, strategy, management and business together to discuss and develop strategies.
The aim of the conference is to present and discuss advanced glass processes and glass productions in order to improve quality and performance. It will maintain the quality of the previous congresses while incorporating new features to learn about the latest innovations in glass technology.
The technical topics will focus on specific needs of glass industries and in particular, will present innovations in glass and innovative technologies for the hollow and flat glass industry.
A technical commission, comprising prominent figures from the technical-productive, scientific and academic worlds, has selected proposals from up to 12 companies that best demonstrate innovative industrial solutions, to present at the conference.
All conference participants will have the opportunity to visit Vitrum and EXPO2015.
