Albat+Wirsam has supplied a comprehensive software solution to Swedish glass processor Forserum Safety Glass. The software includes capacity planning, shop floor data registration and monitoring, and A+W’s CAD system for flat glass, fully integrated in the order processing system.
Forserum Safety Glass AB (FSG), one of the leading glass processors in Sweden, has decided to go ahead with implementing a comprehensive software solution from A+W (ALBAT+WIRSAM) by March 2012.
The solution consists of a comprehensive ERP- and production solution which includes state-of-the-art capacity planning, shop floor data registration complete with monitoring system, and A+W’s CAD system for flat glass, fully integrated in the order processing system. A+W software will control all of FSG’s commercial and production processes.
Forserum Safety Glass AB, established in 2003, has, over the past eight years, become one of the leading glass processing enterprises in Sweden. The company, which is centrally located between the major industrial hubs of Nässjö and Jönköping, produces the entire spectre of modern IG and safety glass on a production area of 12.000 sq.m., including heat-strengthened glass of up to 2,800 x 6,000mm, laminated glass with multi-step processing.
