The Azerbaijan State Property Committee has announced the sale of 97.78% of the shares (241,888) in the Mingechevir Shushe Lifi JSC fiberglass plant at Mingechevir in northern Azerbaijan. Amongt other requirements, bidders should offer new technologies and production upgrades. Bids must arrive at 20, Safarov Street in Baku by 17.30 on 30 July 2008. They will be unsealed on 1 August 2008 at 10.30am. It is the third attempt at selling the factory by competitive tender. Previous attempts were made in May 2005 and May 2007. The company“s authorized capital is AZM 494,700. The enterprise, launched in 1965, covers 8 hectares and has 206 employees. The company is owed AZM 148,500 and has debts of AZM 539,400.
