BDF axial cooling for angular M.O.C.

BDF Moulds Axial Cooling improves cooling efficiency and thermal homogeneity maintaining standard moulds and equipment. The principal benefits of this technology are:

  • Possibility of 360° timed moulds cooling system
  • Independent and timed neck-ring cooling
  • Use of standard moulds assembly (inserts)
  • Use of a double timed valve for the neck-ring cooling and blank mould cooling
  • Use telescopic pipes and ball joint system to feed the air to the plenum chamber
  • Uniform heat distribution on the internal mould cavity compared to traditional stack
  • Constant cooling conditions
  • Improve of the cooling efficiency compared with the traditional
    stack-cooling
  • Reduction of the noise level and cooling time
  • Fine control of the mould cooling and internal heat distribution thanks to the possibility to modify the mould drilling or the air feeding to the mould

This cooling configuration feeds the air to the bottom of the mould

The airflow has vertical direction, from the bottom to the top of the mould.

It is possible to have the separate neck-ring cooling with independent timing valve.

Ideal for light-medium ware production.

This cooling configuration feeds the air to midway mould position

The airflow is separated in two directions, towards the top and towards the bottom.

It is possible to have the separate neck-ring cooling with independent timing valve.
