A well known national brand famous for its ginger beer has chosen a glass bottle from Beatson Clark to launch a new ginger sauce product.Crabbie’s Ginger Sauce, which was launched in Asda earlier this month, comes in Beatson Clark’s standard 220ml square sauce bottle in white flint with a 31.5mm ROPP neck finish. The sauce comes in two flavours – Ginger Spiced Sweet Chilli Sauce and Sweet Ginger Splash – and is being introduced two years after Halewood International chose a Beatson Clark bottle for the successful launch of its now famous Crabbie’s Ginger Beer.

Ian Duffy, Purchasing Director at Halewood International which produces and markets Crabbie’s products, says he is delighted with the service and the products offered by Beatson Clark. “The size and shape of the bottle met our requirements perfectly and, as the bottle is already used by our nominated bottling company, we knew there would be no filling issues,” he said. “Beatson Clark is a well established supplier of ours and their bottle was available from their standard sale range, so there was no problem with availability.” Lynn Sidebottom, Sales & Marketing Director at Beatson Clark, said the continuing relationship with Halewood International demonstrates the company’s flexibility and high-quality customer service. “We helped to launch Crabbie’s Ginger Beer in 2010 so we’re pleased Halewood International chose to work with us again for this launch this too,” she said.“It is a perfect example of how we can work with larger companies as a new product development partner, enabling them to test and launch new products with minimum capital outlay. “Our extensive general sale range includes more than 60 products for the food sector as well as a wide selection of pharmaceutical and beverage products, so we are able to supply a suitable container for most products from stock.”
