Beta Glass declares 2013 dividend

The 38 kobo per share dividend to shareholders of Beta Glass is a 12% increase in dividend payment of the company compared to 34 kobo paid in 2011. Closure date of the register of members whose names appear on its books is 5-9 May 2014.

Nigerian Beta Glass Plc has announced a 38 kobo per share dividend to shareholders of the company in its 2013 audited year-end.
The 38 kobo proposed is a 12% increase in dividend payment of the company compared to 34 kobo paid in 2011.
Shareholders of the company had, at its 38th annual general meeting (AGM) held in Lagos, expressed their dissatisfaction over the dividend policy of the company where they claim to be paid almost the same amount on a yearly basis.
The dividend history of the firm in the review period shows that Beta Glass had paid 38 kobo dividend in 2010, 40 kobo in 2011, 34 kobo in 2012 and now 38 kobo.
The company said that the closure date of the register of members whose names appear on its books is 5-9 May 2014.
Annual General Meeting (AGM) and payment dates have been scheduled for 8 and 9 July 2014 respectively.
