Beverage Ingredients 2018: added value for beverages Made in Italy at Fiera Milano

Beverage Ingredients is the first event organized in Italy dedicated to ingredients

 

Beverage Ingredients will offer experts of ingredients, manufacturers, scientist and technologists, as well as users, the first meeting place to update and inform the professional public about the state-of-the-art of the sector.

From soft drinks to Italian gin, from vermouth to craft beer, ingredients are ever more decisive for the success of beverages. Beverage Ingredients, the first event organized in Italy dedicated to ingredients, will debut at Fiera Milano, Pavilion 14, part of Ipack-Ima, 30-31 May, focusing on these important parts of drinks.
The market for beverage ingredients and liquid food takes up a large share of the wider food ingredients sector, which is normally divided into four important categories: aromas and fragrances, additives and adjuvants for food, starches and derivatives, raw materials for food supplements and functional foods. In 2015 (the last available year of data, turnover of manufacturers of this sector was more than EUR 1 billion, of which EUR 300 million in Italy.
The event is made up of a series of conferences taking place in the conference room set up especially in Pavilion 14 at the Milano-Rho fair centre, with a prologue dedicated to beer. The prologue will highlight Italian craft beer, never before so diverse and protagonist. Ingredients and innovations will also be discussed, along with the comeback of glass bottles as the main container for beer. Ideas and experiences, innovation, containers and marketing are also on the agenda.
