Biesse Group strengthens its presence in Brazil

A new headquarters in Curitiba to be even closer to customers

Biesse Group, a leading company in technologies for processing of wood, glass, stone and advanced materials, according to the territorial expansion process characterized by capillarity and proximity to strategic markets, is strengthening its international presence opening a new headquarters in Curitiba, in the state of Paranà – a market in which it already offers machines for processing glass and stone – by entering the woodworking sector.

The important investments in resources and skills in Brazil have the primary objective to be even closer to customers and their needs and to evaluate opportunities for growth in other countries of South America.

The Group that has been operating in the wood machinery sector for over 50 years has been present in the country since 1987. Biesse has provided solutions for the furniture industry thanks to a network of qualified agents and dealers and from its headquarters in São Paulo, now integrated in the Curitiba hub, the company has directly served the glass and stone industries through its brands Intermac and Diamut.

The new Curitiba site will have a showroom of more than 1,300 square metres, where customers will be able to join the Biesse experience, watch live demonstrations of the machinery designed for processing wood, glass, stone and advanced materials. They will have access to a team of experts to support them in their decisions, a newly bolstered assistance service and dedicated training areas.

To meet, listen and become even closer to its customers, Biesse Group will be taking part in the upcoming Glass South America trade fair from June 29 to July 2, and in the ForMobile trade fair from July 5 to 8, 2022.

Internationalisation is one of the main drivers for the Group and has always guided its development. With 39 offices in Europe, North America, Latin America, the Middle and Far East, Asia and Oceania, the group strives to continually improve the service it offers its clients, offering extensive coverage and good local presence. The project which is focused on growing the international network will also see the opening of new offices in Israel and Japan, which will strengthen the presence of the Group in these strategic markets.
