After acquiring American Portals Hardware in January, Bohle has announced that it is now participating in Mc-Slide – a hardware manufacturer specialized in high-quality sliding door solutions.
This year in January, Bohle AG acquired Portals Hardware, a renowned American manufacturer and distributor of shower fittings and accessories. Now the next coup follows immediately: Bohle AG participates in a hardware manufacturer specialized in high-quality sliding door solutions in the field of interior design and bathrooms.
The Italian company, founded in 2010, offers under the name Mc-Slide innovative and high quality products for sliding door solutions of all kinds. “With this new company participation, Bohle AG is further expanding its product range in the field of sliding doors and, with this step, is strengthening its competence as a manufacturer of fittings,” explains Dr. Thorsten Böllinghaus, technical CEO of Bohle AG, the strategic background. This is a consistent development, with which the Bohle AG is aligning its product portfolio even more closely to customer needs, said Böllinghaus and continues: “The expertise and technologies that Mc-Slide brings with its team are an ideal complement to ours to provide customers with high-quality and comfortable solutions for interior glass design.”
One of the greatest strengths of the company is a high level of technical know-how coupled with a talented inventor spirit. As a competence centre within the Bohle Group, it will promote the development of innovative solutions around the topic of ‘sliding doors’. Mc-Slide’s product portfolio is particularly broad. It includes many patented solutions and offers a wide range of applications, from indoor and outdoor sliding doors to horizontal sliding doors and folding doors. Even large and internationally well-known door manufacturers are already being supplied. “We are delighted to be a partner of Bohle and therefore to offer our innovative products to a broad customer base around the world,” said Ciro Matino, company founder and general manager of Mc-Slide.
Bohle AG takes over the distribution of the products worldwide, with the exception of the home markets of Mc-Slide and some special customer groups. The project business is also being considered as a future business perspective.
