BGWL reported positive quarterly results

In reporting its quarterly results, BGWL announced 66% increase in net profit at Rs14.78 crore for the quarter ended Mar 2018.

Borosil Glass Works Limited (BGWL) has announced 66% increase in net profit at Rs14.78 crore for the quarter ended Mar 2018.
The company’s sales increased by 16% to Rs87.50 crore. BGWL’s operating profit was at Rs10.85 crore and profit before depreciation and tax increased by 84% to Rs22.21 crore.
BGWL’s equity capital was at Rs2.31 crore, share price as on 11 Jun 2018, Rs818 and price earnings ratio, 40.70.
The company’s shares of face value Re1 each, recorded 52-week high/low prices of Rs1,125/762.
Borosil Glass Works is the market leader for laboratory glassware and microwavable kitchenware in India. It was established in 1962 in collaboration with Corning Glass Works USA. In 1988, Corning divested its share holding to the current Indian promoters.
