Bottero S.p.A. has announced the appointment of Solutec Glass as its exclusive and sole equipment and spare parts agency in Spain and Portugal for the Bottero flat glass downstream product range.
Bottero S.p.A. is the only company in the world that produces flat and hollow glass machinery for glass production and processing. It also provides Bottero Solar EPC solutions for photovoltaic module production lines.
According to Alberto Masoero, Bottero S.p.A. Flat Glass Director of Sales and Marketing, Solutec Glass is an important addition to Bottero’s sales network. This is because it will support flat glass customers to design and implement their industrial strategy. Bottero provides a wide range of flat glass cutting and grinding off-the-shelf products, as well as tailor-made solutions for warehouse stock management, lamination lines for automotive and architectural glass, and photovoltaic solar module production lines.
Alberto Masoero also expressed his gratitude to Solutec Glass’ CEO, Mr. Gonzalo Martinez, for joining the Bottero family. Mr. Masoero believes that Mr. Martinez’s experience of over 30 years within the flat glass processing industry will bring great value to the company. Furthermore, Solutec Glass’ experience and presence in the Spanish and Portuguese markets will boost Bottero’s presence in this pivotal market for the Mediterranean region.
