As of January 2013, British Glass President will be Pablo Isasmendi, Managing Director of Guardian Industries UK Glass Division. He has been in the glass industry for over 20 years, and was part of the original team to build and commission Guardian’s float glass line in Tudela, Spain.
Pablo Isasmendi, Managing Director of Guardian Industries UK Glass Division, has been nominated and voted in as President of British Glass 2013.
With Isasmendi taking on this role at the beginning in January 2013, Guardian is working to increase the presence of flat glass manufacturers within British Glass and to continue to work closely with the organization to help ensure the company and the wider glass industry are kept up to date on potential changes in regulations and legislation.
Isasmendi, who has a Master’s Degree in Engineering, has been in the glass industry for over 20 years, and was part of the original team to build and commission Guardian’s float glass line in Tudela, Spain. In 2006 he moved to the UK to manage engineering and maintenance at Guardian UK, becoming Managing Director of Guardian Industries UK Glass Division in 2007.
