Leading fire resistant glass manufacturer CGI is moving fast to take position as the world’s number one independent supplier of fire glass products to the building industry. At the recent edition of glasstec, the company spoke with industry figures, customers and prospects, providing them with exclusive insight into the strategic vision of the CGI International Group.
Having welcomed visitors from over 50 countries during this year’s glasstec exhibition, CGI International, a leading manufacturer of fire resistant glazing, is well on course to become the world’s number one independent supplier of fire glass products to the building industry globally.
Coinciding with the creation of CGI France and the acquisition of the business activities of Interver SA, glasstec represented an ideal forum to engage with industry figures, customers and prospects, providing them with exclusive insight into the strategic vision of the CGI International Group.
David Jolliffe, Managing Director, CGI International, comments: “The creation of CGI France has already stimulated great market interest, both in the extended product range we can offer, our back up specialist technical services and customer support. We intend to build on this and the interest generated in our overall product range at glasstec over the coming months.”
CGI International has been showcasing its range of Pyroguard fire glass solutions at glasstec for almost ten years, with 2012 proving the most successful to date. Steve Goodburn, Business Development Director UK and North America, explains: “The Pyroguard brand is synonymous with performance and quality throughout the UK and Europe, but we are increasingly gaining ground in markets much further afield.
“The global interest in our fire glass solutions portfolio is testament to the growing popularity of Pyroguard worldwide and we look forward to building on the traction we gained at the show.”
Pyroguard fire glass solutions provide access to fully EN certified E, EW and EI rated products for use in a wide range of fire doors, windows, screens and partitions. These include steel, aluminium and timber frame profiles for use with all common glazing media.
Importantly for the continued global expansion of CGI International, the company is committed to on-going investment in its online support tools, including the Applications and Tests Selector. Steve concludes: “Our website is available in the local languages of all our current key markets – with a dedicated Applications & Tests Selector for each. We developed the tool in this way to ensure the most up to date test evidence for each country is always available and easy to access.”
