André Brütsch will be the new Head of the Bystronic glass Group succeeding Richard Jakob as CEO starting from 1 January 2012. He will therefore also become a member of the Conzzeta AG Management Group.
André Brütsch will be the new Head of the Bystronic glass Group succeeding Richard Jakob as CEO starting from 1 January 2012. He will therefore also become a member of the Conzzeta AG Management Group.
In his function as a member of the business unit management with the Bystronic Group (Sheet Metal Processing Systems) André Brütsch, a Swiss Graduate Engineer, has for the past seven years already been working for the Conzzeta Group. Currently, he is the Operative Manager of the parent company Bystronic Laser AG in Niederönz (Switzerland), where he has been managing the Operations Division of this business unit since 2008. His combination of experience both in this post and in respect of his previous position with the Mechanical Engineering Division of Georg Fischer AG, André Brütsch brings a wide range of managerial experience to this role.
Richard Jakob, who has managed the Bystronic glass Group business since the beginning of 2007, will be retiring from Group Management. He will however remain with Bystronic glass. In future, he will concentrate on special projects and the management of the global sales and service subsidiaries.
An additional staff change within the Bystronic glass Group will also take effect from 01 January 2012: Dr. Frank Scholz will be assuming responsibility for the newly created position of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In this capacity he will also become a member of the Bystronic glass Group Management.
Dr. Frank Scholz is a Graduate Computer Scientist and Doctor of Engineering in mechanical engineering-production. He brings diverse managerial skills in corporate groups to the position along with previous years experience in owner-managed medium-sized companies. His most recent position was that of a Managing Director at a consulting company in Shanghai.
